an un-poem...Thank you for..
the unforgettable I'll keep
braving the terrorist threat at fed sq
listening to raggie
best spelling on post-its and a bug on the door
hot choc stop at mc dees
squashed 6 in a car hiding one from the police
racist jokes and scary thoughts amidst the laughter
our favourite camera spot to remember
fireworks on the perfect spot between the 3rd and 4th fish
south yarra with pancakes and talks about respect
The best korean with better company
the picture-perfect in green
being pixies on the beach
cartwheels and acting titanic
marshmallows sickly sweet
and an absent bunsen burner
jamming in a cluttered room
with two sound asleep
Fighting winds and sands that attack
standing by the heater house
pictures with flying hair
sand from the port that stays in our clothes
krispy kremes nice and warm
whistling to jazz and happy songs
whacking inflated heads with infalted bats
sick jokes not for the young ones
a touching experience
songs created about that and more
thinking hard for the words to fit
praying and sharing to finish
a big surprise
pictures mine to keep
hugs from everyone
some still frames and photographs that will last in my mind...
Thank you for my year in melb in 2006. Its an honour to be part of PMS ;)
Looking forward to hearing about the fun times to come at PM!
...but you cannot take port out of the boy

a step into the foreign,
with my God and what He has given,
knowing what it truly means to be blessed
