An account of the night gone by

Eleven pm
We reached port M
Many cars , many people
Indeed quite unusual

The call of nature beckoned
But the toilets unopened
A minor disappointment
Though bearable for the moment

Two or three in confusion
Was there grass near the ocean?
That in fact, just merely
A lapse of memory

Soggy pizza still savoury
Roasted doughnuts gone in a hurry
Warm Milo we drank our fillie
Chips flavoured with thai sweet chilli

Starfish gather on steps tide-high
Gee whiz....God knows why
Seagull picked on left over pieces
Oblivious, we stood our places

Of days to come and fun times ahead
We spoke of plans to be made
Already we dream highlands of snow
Teeming with enthusiasm some faces show

As we gathered cheek by jowl
The chilly winds took its toll
Unaffected we talked some more
About wives of the future, that's Amore!

Call it a day
We could finally say
And sigh.. we left in a jiffy
But hey lets return shortly...

PS: I was bored of work and so here I am. I don't know if this makes much sense but at least I tried right =) Anyways see ya all! God Bless!
